Martina Believes in Community and Giving Back

It is important to me to be consciously grateful for life’s blessings.  As busy as life gets, I make sure to carve out time to do my part to make the world a little better for those in need.  I hope, that this behaviour is contagious and creates a culture of giving. It is a beautiful life and we need to value what we have.

ALS Committee Member and fundraiser – Halton and Mississauga

As a member of the Walk to End ALS planning committee, I am a member of a passionate group that wants to make change happen.  I am proud to have been one of the top fundraisers in Halton in 2019!

A diagnosis of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease gradually paralyzes people. Over time there is a loss of the ability to walk, talk, eat, swallow and eventually breathe. I am committed to helping to raise awareness and funding for this life ending disease.  The efforts of ALS Canada and the local groups that help raise money mean that people living with ALS today benefit from services and support.

Children’s Miracle Wish Network

I am honoured to be a supporter of The Children’s Miracle Networkâ with 500 Dairy Queen Treats that will not only support The Children’s Miracle Networkâ, but also bring happiness to my clients!  You can bet as my client, we’ll be stopping in for a cold treat on me to support this amazing cause – all year long.

Through their partnership between DQ and Children’s Miracle Networkâ member hospitals this program is a year round commitment to help bring healing and happiness to ailing or injured kids.

The official Miracle treat day is Aug 8th – visit a DQ location near you and help support this important cause.
